Vandelanotte, the largest independent firm in Belgium, reinforces its growth ambitions with the appointment of Chris Van hoorde as new partner M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions). Chris leaves Ghent-based corporate finance firm VDP after three successful years as partner and managing director to further develop the M&A department at Vandelanotte from 27 May 2024.
Throughout his career at companies such as KBC, Dealmakers, and VDP, Chris has built up significant experience and expertise in corporate finance, with a strong focus on M&A. "With Chris on our M&A team, Vandelanotte Corporate Finance will focus even more on the sale of companies and further develop the M&A department into a high-quality reference in the market. He can rely on a strong and high-performing team of motivated employees with proven expertise," says Veerle Buyl, partner Corporate Finance at Vandelanotte.
"At Vandelanotte, there is a lot of market knowledge and expertise, ensuring that clients can always count on getting the right advice. With the strength of a large group and the dedicated focus of the team, we should be able to acquire a significant market share in M&A in the short term," says Chris. "From the first conversation, I felt the motivation to contribute to a fantastic story. Vandelanotte is characterized by a familial nature, a high degree of involvement, a no-nonsense approach, and solution-oriented creativity."
With this strategic appointment, Vandelanotte once again underscores its ambition to grow and strengthen its position in the market.
