Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) has launched a new open call for the allocation of start-up internationalisation packages. This one-off grant of €9,000 is aimed at start-up exporters who have never received financial support from FIT before.
The application period for this call is from 2 October 2023 to 11 October 2023 (5pm). Be quick with your application as the number of files is limited to 175 applicants. Please note that if the maximum number of applications is reached, the call will be closed early. Want to know how to apply? We will tell you all about it!
Outside Flanders, but also outside Europe, there are fast-growing markets where you can spread your wings. And exporting pays off. To give you that extra confidence, and as part of its mission to get as many Flemish companies as possible to internationalise, FIT is relaunching the Internationalisation Starter Package. The one-off grant of 9,000 euros can be used for all costs related to internationalisation (excluding your own salary costs). You can apply for the Starter Package if your company meets a number of conditions:
Your company corresponds to the basic European definition of an SME and has a registered office in the Flemish Region.
Your company has a Belgian company number.
Your company has never received financial support from FIT.
You are not receiving any other financial support for the same costs from an international, federal, regional or local authority.
Your company has fulfilled all its obligations to FIT.
Your project must relate to activities that promote international business.
Your company's share capital is not more than 50% owned, directly or indirectly, by the government.
