After the Flemish Region, the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region also introduced additional support measures for companies affected by the Covid-19 virus. The exact terms for these measures are currently being defined. Below you will find an overview of the announced measures.
Companies active in certain sectors can benefit from the Covid-19 one-off premium of 4,000 euros per establishment unit in Brussels. This premium is only granted to companies active in certain sectors. Given the recent changes, the following NACE codes will be added to the list of authorized sectors:
By analogy with the Flemish compensatory premium, the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region has introduced a compensatory premium of 2,000 euros to support entrepreneurs and micro-enterprises (< 5 FTEs), who are experiencing a significant drop in activity due to Covid-19.
In addition to the exemption from tax on taxi services or chauffeur-driven vehicles, all operators of taxi services or chauffeur-driven cars will be granted aid of 3,000 euros.
