Vandelanotte continues to work on its growth. After the news about its merger with audit firm Callens, Pirenne, Theunissen & Co in early July, it is now also joining forces with Comptact, an accountancy firm in Wallonia. The office in Lasne will bring the number of Vandelanotte branches up to fifteen altogether.
In addition to current director Eric Sauvage, Comptact employs six members of staff. For Vandelanotte, this acquisition is a carefully considered strategic move. Vandelanotte’s CEO, Nikolas Vandelanotte, explains, “It will be a very nice addition for us and marks our first move into Walloon Brabant. This acquisition supports our strategic decision to operate as a truly nation-wide concern, with strong representation in each of Belgium’s various regions.”
Comptact sees the future in a positive light as well. “This collaboration with Vandelanotte will allow us to offer our customers more extensive services. That means we can provide them with even better advice, fully adapted to their specific circumstances,” says Eric Sauvage.
Vandelanotte currently has over 450 employees, who spend their days working on customers’ accounting, tax-related, economic, legal and social issues and providing them with appropriate advice.
